PRESS RELEASE GUIDELINES
We'll be delighted to receive your press release. Please send it to the email address above.
FORMAT
The Ideal Format for us is a plain email rather than an enclosure. We can deal with releases sent like that quickly.
Paste In Body. If your release is a poster or Word document, it's easier for us if you copy the text from it, and paste it into an email.
Enclosures - Not Keen. If you have to send an enclosure or attachment (we prefer not), we'd be grateful if you keep it small in memory terms.
CONTENT
Don't Be Nervous about writing press releases, they're very straightforward. Make sure you cover the 5 Basic Advertising Questions:
Who? What? When? Where? How Much?
Tell Us. So tell us who's in your show, its title, day date time, how much you're charging.
Need To Know. We also need to know your name, email address and mobile number (if you have one)
Just 100 Words. Please tell us an extremely small amount (a paragraph of 100 words is usually more than enough)
about your show. We don't want to know more - the show has to speak for itself.
(eg Les Miserables - Musical about France. Apocalypse Now! - Vietnam by river. Don't Look Now - Punctured by dwarf. The Man Who Fell To Earth - Ouch).
To Review We'll Need. If you want us to come and see your show with a view to reviewing it, we need one free ticket + a programme (or other sheet with all cast and crew credits on it) - so please tell us if you want to do this.
We'll look forward to hearing from you.
