FRINGE REPORT'S FIRST MONDAY AT THE ARTS is an incredibly successful networking night. Since it started in 2007, plays have been cast from it, actors, directors and producers have met and teamed up - and all those names you know by email suddenly become faces. It's the analogue version of FaceBook.
YOU CAN PITCH YOUR SHOW in the mic spot during the evening. Tell us when you arrive and we'll put you on the list. When you get up to the mic, keep it to one minute, and give brief details - your name, what you are (eg actor, director, pr), name of your show, venue, days and dates, times, how much. Eg 'My name is X, I'm an actor in a musical called Shakespeare's Last Stand. It's at The Globe. Dates are 15-17th of this month. It's on at 7.30pm Tuesday to Friday. Tickets are £8 to £15'. Have some fliers to give out to people when you're having a drink later - they'll know who you are after your pitch. If you're a venue PR, best to pitch one show and do the details of the whole programme by giving people fliers or printed sheets.

TRAVEL Latest details - Transport For London (TFL) 020 7222 1234. Website www.tfl.gov.uk. The Arts Theatre - next to the Photographers Gallery - is across the road from Leicester Square tube. Walking times (not fast) from The Arts are as follows: Centre Point (7 minutes); Charing Cross Road bus stops (2 min); Trafalgar Square (5 minutes); Charing Cross Station concourse (7 minutes); Waterloo Station concourse (19 minutes). Many London bus routes go through Trafalgar Square, and almost all night buses.
