Reader Consultation - Autumn 2008Fringe Report reached 6 years of publication on 12 July 08. When we started, it was pretty much just us covering the fringe; now there are 50 or more blogs and websites in that area. And we've expanded to lots of new areas, so it's a good time to question where we go from here - with your help.
(a) WHAT WE ARE. What exactly is Fringe Report to you now? So far as you alone are concerned, what do we do? What is bad about FR? What is useful? Please be frank.
(b) CHANGE OUR NAME? A lot of people think the word 'fringe' is limiting, or has connotations they don't like. A lot of people like it. We do a lot more than fringe. Should we change our name? What should our new name be?
We'll really appreciate everyone telling us these two things - as frankly as you like. It's a time for being radical for the future, so don't hold back on criticism or suggestions. We won't take anything personally.
