The Bratchpiece Family Show
Verdict: Many low points
Whether concept or actuality, this 'family show that's not for the family' features three stand-ups presented as a father and two sons.
The hour consists of three 20-minutes sets (one from each comic), and a short warm-up which teaches that laughing is good for people, and makes them live longer. If they do not laugh, it is explained, they will die. This, unfortunately, is a fate shared with many of the Bratchpiece Family's jokes. There are many low points in this show, which contains a lot of coarse humour and aggression, an over-reliance on knob and rape gags, and an indescribably bad Stephen Hawking impression.
Amongst all this, there are a few clever moments and much potential for improvement.
