Verdict: C-team's fallout

When four businessmen get lost in Lake District fog, tempers quickly fray. There's a lot of blame, random accusations about people's personal lives, and new things to discover about each other - most of which make for nervousness.
Tim Dickinson, steals the show as born-again-Christian Roy. Roy’s back at work after his nervous breakdown, and goes smoothly from good-natured to depressive – and suddenly back again.
The group is thrown together as the company's C-team. They fall out over everything - from the one sausage saved from breakfast, to the island's rare falcon, to who is to blame for their missed lift on a party boat.
The men's sanity unravels enjoyably, along with the slow unpacking of Gordon's rucksack - an apparent Tardis full of everything but food. By the time they discover their flare, the night has got late - and become bonfire night. Help arrives as Roy - probably more sane now than at any point before – returns in his underpants, bringing a bloody pigeon for food.
There is some good humour in this, as well as darker moments, but the brochure's promise of 'comic masterpiece' is an overstatement. The cast do their best with it, all demonstrating good comic timing - but it's fun, rather than out-and-out funny.
